MOURN - “Skeleton (BTR Live Studio)” - B-Side (2019)

From the years 2010-2020 I recorded over a thousand bands for the now defunct BreakThru Radio. One of my favorite sessions was with MOURN, a unique, young Spanish post-punk band who brought a tense energy and great songs. In 2018, I was delighted to learn one of the tracks from our session would be featured as a B-Side on a split single with Ontario band Chastity. A performance of the song “Skeleton” from their album Sopresa Familia was chosen for the 7’. It is a true banger and it was recorded live-in-the-studio then mixed/mastered with love by me.
